Two arrests after a man is shot dead and two injured at pool party

Braintear Spookie - real name Jason White - and girlfriend Summerlyn Farquharson have apologised to the community

A Jamaican dancehall star and his girlfriend have spoken for the first time about the moment a man was shot dead at a pool party they organised.
A 34-year-old man was shot in the chest in the early hours of yesterday morning after the party at a £1m mansion in Headley, Surrey, descended into chaos.
The summer party was organised by reggae artist Braintear Spookie - real name Jason White, 21 - and his girlfriend Summerlyn Farquharson, 29, who manages her boyfriend.
Speaking exclusively to Mirror Online, the pair described what happened during the shooting, including how they locked themselves inside the home, which has an indoor pool and outdoor pool, when the shooting happened.
They also told how they had been left devastated by the shooting and have apologised to the local community for the distress caused.

“I was at the front of the house and heard one shot", she said.
"It shouted like a bottle of pop popping. People started screaming and running.
“When I saw everybody trying to get out that is when I ran back inside because I realised it was serious.”

They say they had no idea why the shooting happened and did not know who had died or who the attacker was.

“But it was not out fault. We were just having a good night. We did not expect this to happen."

Police had attended the property earlier in the day following complaints about loud music and noise coming from the party.
Local councillor David Preedy tweeted that police had attended the property at around 10pm last night.
He said: "Police have attended party at Headley to advise organisers to remain considerate to neighbours. Hope this will keep things acceptable."
It is understood the plush six-bedroom is currently being rented for around £4,500-a-month.
Previous events have seen coach parties arrive at the property with some guests travelling in from across Europe.
The neighbour told Mirror Online residents had complained about the annual event which was being held for the third time.
He said: "It's an annual party which happens in this house between the pub and the vicarage.
"It's a huge event in a village with only around 200 houses and I'm amazed it's been allowed to happen again.
"There's loud aggressive rap music, people doing donuts in the fields in their Range Rovers, people just batten down the hatches when it's on."

"We couldn't sleep because the music was so loud so we were downstairs trying to shoo people away from parking on our property or peeing on it or worse," the neighbour continued.
"Suddenly pandemonium broke out and people came hurtling out of the house in all directions, jumping into cars and speeding off.
"It was very scary and it only got worse when armed cops turned up a short time later.
"It's just misery for people like us who live nearby bit after last year's got out of control we never dreamed it would happen again but somehow it did and now someone is dead."
